Was very pleased by the service at blue star car rentals; wasn’t expecting them to both drop off and pick up the car after the rental period but was pleasantly surprised!Much better option than the other rental agencies in terms of pricing and the owners are super nice.Would definitely recommend if you are based in the far north for your next holiday.

So thankful for Blue Star Car Rentals - after some mayhem with our flight getting cancelled and us missing the window to pick up our original rental car, Chris was so accommodating in getting us situated with a car in record time and was even there to greet us at the airport. Incredibly friendly people - we at the airport and and helped with our luggage to our car.The car was as advertised and very clean and tidy.They made everything easy, we had no issues with the vehicle. I will absolutely use them again when I return to Northland. Excellent value for money too.

Blue Star really helped us up with a short-notice booking after Hertz let us down in a big way, and we had no way of contacting them. Chris and Hillary sorted us out with a great car so we could make it to our appointment in Kaitaia on time. Very easy collection and drop-off process at the airport. Can not recommend highly enough.

We had our best time in Northern Island with the tiny Toyota iQ (2300km, 14 days, 2025). Seats very comfortables. Super easy to drive. No big consumption. Thank you BlueStar !!

Can't fault them at all....From having no car availability because of a busy time, we were helped and sorted by getting a car by Blue star. The car was great and so was the service, wouldn't just use them again, I would only use them... Fantastic...

Amazing service. I had a car break down and was at the airport after hours. None of the ‘big’ car companies would assist but Chris said no problem- I’ll be there in half an hour. Highly recommend this car rental company!!
