Blue Star really helped us up with a short-notice booking after Hertz let us down in a big way, and we had no way of contacting them. Chris and Hillary sorted us out with a great car so we could make it to our appointment in Kaitaia on time. Very easy collection and drop-off process at the airport. Can not recommend highly enough.

We had our best time in Northern Island with the tiny Toyota iQ (2300km, 14 days, 2025). Seats very comfortables. Super easy to drive. No big consumption. Thank you BlueStar !!

Can't fault them at all....From having no car availability because of a busy time, we were helped and sorted by getting a car by Blue star. The car was great and so was the service, wouldn't just use them again, I would only use them... Fantastic...

Amazing service. I had a car break down and was at the airport after hours. None of the ‘big’ car companies would assist but Chris said no problem- I’ll be there in half an hour. Highly recommend this car rental company!!

Blue Star car rental company is a very reliable to deliver your vehicle on time and all prepared for your next adventure. With a convenience of delivery to the Bay of Island marina it was a great time saver for me. They are always helpful before, during your rental. Dealing with that company is easy and very pleasant. I will recommend them for your next car rental while in NZ!

These guys are the best!We had last minute travel plan changes and had to change our booking a couple of times.They were very accommodating, getting back to us promptly, nothing was a problem.We were greeted by a lovely lady who had a sign at the airport, super friendly, no hassles, car right there ready to go.The car was very clean and suited our needs.The pick up and drop off was as smooth as you can get!I highly recommend these guys! AAA+++
